Marie Curie
Marie Skłodowska-Curie. Physicist. Pioneer. Parent.

As she arrives from her native home in Poland to study at Sorbonne University in Paris, young Marie Skłodowska is certain she can make a name for herself and change the course of science. She discovers radium, a new chemical element, with her husband Pierre Curie, and she’s lauded with the Nobel Prize.

But she is faced with an overwhelming moral dilemma. As Marie discovers the lifesaving potential of radium to cure cancer, factory workers handling the glowing substance are succumbing to the insidious grip of radium poisoning.

As a woman with society against her, can she wrestle with both the potential and danger of her discovery – and what is she if radium’s dangers overshadow its possibilities?

A story of life and death, ‘Marie Curie’ has already captivated audiences in Korea and Japan with its sweeping score and story and is now brought to London audiences for the first time in a stirring original production directed by Sarah Meadows (Ride).

JACK AND THE BEANSTALK: WHAT A WHOPPER!

Written by Jon Bradfield & Martin Hooper with songs by Jon Bradfield
Directed by Andrew Beckett

Laugh your stockings off to this profoundly silly and staggeringly naughty new adults-only pantomime, from the team behind Sleeping Beauty Takes A Prick (★★★★★ "the best adult pantomime in London" - Theatre Weekly).

Jack Trott is very poor, very gay and very horny, living with his mum on a dilapidated dairy farm ten miles from the nearest Grindr user. When he sells their beloved cow for a handful of magic beans, his mum throws them in the compost - and they wake up to the biggest, thickest stalk they've ever seen. Is there a giant at the top? And if so... is he all in proportion?

This magical musical adventure is everything a panto should be - just NOT for all the family!

Following his unforgettable performance as Queen Gertrude, the outrageous Matthew Baldwin ("wonderful as ever" - Time Out) returns to play Dame Trott.

Reviews:
★★★★★
"A hilarious and raucous night out. The script is comedy genius. With a colourful, fun set, camp costumes, outrageously crude and larger-than-life characters and musical theatre references for days, you won’t find another show like it."
Curtain Call
★★★★
"The Grande Dame of adult panto returns. Impeccably produced, flawlessly performed, and riotously funny. Head and shoulders above anything of its kind."
