For Accessible Seating

Mobility Access & Getting Around

The main entrance provides level, step-free access.
From Strand or Embankment, there is unimpeded access into the venue foyer. From here, there is entrance level access to:
  • Balcony One
  • Box Office
  • Accessible toilet
  • Bars and restaurant
The Main Stalls are 16 steps down from the main entrance, with handrails on both sides. The toilets serving the Main Stalls are a further 8 steps down from the theatre doors.
There may be additional steps inside of the auditorium, depending on where you are sitting. Unfortunately, we do not have a lift. If you require step-free seats, we suggest booking seats in Balcony One. Alternatively, call our box office so we can best advise you on availability.
Seating within the theatre is gently raked from row C onwards. Row K on the central aisle is on the same level as the doors to the theatre and has the most leg room of all rows.
Please call the Box Office on  020 7925 8040  to discuss seating options. We offer a complimentary ticket for a carer attending a performance.
For access patrons arriving by car or taxi to Villiers Street, please call us the day before the performance and we will be able to supply an access code for Villiers Street.
Please note that the building can become busy, particularly shortly before performances. If you prefer quieter spaces or require additional time, we recommend arriving early.

Wheelchair Users

Balcony One has removable seating for up to 4 wheelchairs. The area has a good view of the stage and level access from the foyer. Please call the theatre direct to book tickets: 020 7925 8040 during office hours and ask to speak to one of the admin staff.
